A Winter Tree

I got a new pan after Christmas and had to try it out. Fortunately I don't have to make a Christmas Tree from it; I can simply make it into a snowy tree. I used brownie mix in it and made mint frosting to cover it. I used edible sparkles to make it look more snowy.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the holiday! My husband wanted to bring something to the people he works with tomorrow. Cupcakes are always an easy way to feed many people cake without having to bring a knife.

I decided on two different holiday creations, Holly and

Ornaments.

Happy Birthday Princess

My daughter is turning 5 and asked for princess cupcakes. These are chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The skirts are the cupcakes and the bodies are made of frosting. The brown frosting was made by adding cocoa creating chocolate frosting. My daughter will love them because she usually just eats the frosting off the cake.

Happy Thanksgiving

In honor of thanksgiving I made a cookie and put a cornucopia on it. I hope your thanksgiving is full of the bounty and family.

I was up against some great cakes and the one that did win looks like she made the cake for the contest. Thank you to all of you who helped get me into the finals. Check out the winning entries and the runners up HERE.
