This is a recreation of the Viking's field in cake. It isn't to scale exactly, but really it's cake and it's yummy. This particular cake measures 8x16.

Turkey is not just a main dish.

I got a new pan and wanted to try it out. I also made a cream cheese frosting to use on it. Cream cheese frosting is very soft and doesn't work well for things you need firm frosting for such as roses. I am still working on the cream cheese frosting and haven't perfected it.

Turkeys are great for Thanksgiving, but why should you just have a turkey as the main dish? A turkey cake is great for dessert after the main meal. This turkey happens to be made out of spice cake.
